In a statement released by the Coalition of Katsina Groups for National Unity and Integration, a network of non-profit, non-partisan, and non-government organizations based in Katsina state, the group highlighted its commitment to justice, peace, democracy, and good governance. The coalition emphasized its role as proponents of dialogue, national unity, and integration.

Addressing the current challenges faced by Nigerian citizens, the coalition acknowledged the government's efforts in tackling issues such as the high cost of living and insecurity. Recognizing measures taken by the Federal Government, including the disbursement of N35,000 wage awards, the inauguration of the National Minimum Wage committee, and the establishment of Compressed Natural Gas Conversion Centres, the coalition commended steps taken to address these concerns.

The coalition also acknowledged the government's anti-corruption efforts, citing specific actions against corruption, including the suspension of a minister and investigations into officials like Godwin Emiefele. Notably, the coalition highlighted engagements with state governors to address rising costs and insecurity.

Expressing a viewpoint on the planned nationwide protests by the N.L.C., the coalition suggested that dialogue options had not been fully exhausted. While recognizing the government's commitment to engaging organized labor, the coalition advised against street protests, emphasizing the need for continued dialogue until demands are met.

Referencing past protests, including #ENDSARS, the coalition cautioned against actions that could undermine the fragile peace, urging organized labor to avoid measures that may harm the existing stability.

The coalition condemned those capitalizing on the suffering of Nigerians for political gain. Additionally, they called on sub-national governments, political office holders, private sectors, and philanthropists to contribute to alleviating the hardships faced by the masses.
